Product Description
Outdoor aerial optical fiber cable is a kind of transmissions cable which is especially designed to be hung on the poles. Abiding by the existing overhead principles, aerial optical cable is commonly applied to WAN/LAN telecommunication. Different types can be installed as either catenary or self-supporting.

The fibers are placed in a loose tube made of high modulus plastic. The tubes are filled with a water-resistant filling compound. A steel wire locates in the center of core as a metallic strength member. The tubes (and fillers) are stranded around the strength member into a compact and circular cable core. After PSP is applied around the cable core, this part of cable accompanied with the stranded wires as the supporting part are completed with a polyethylene (PE) sheath to be figure 8 structure. This kind of cable is specifically applied for self-supporting aerial installation.

After cable formation, the additional attenuation of the fiber is better than 0.02dB/Km, and the dispersion value is unchanged.
The temperature range is -40 C ~+70 C.
